The Autumn School for Sustainable Entrepreneurship is an annual program for young changemakers from the African continent and Germany. Driven by the vision of a transition towards a sustainable global economy it enables young entrepreneurs to learn more about sustainable business, consider how to maximize their social impact, share their locally acquired best practices with each other, and become part of an international network of young people sharing the same spirit of sustainability.

The Autumn School is organized by the ASA-Program within the framework of the African German Youth Initiative (AGYI) and was launched in Berlin in 2016. The third edition of the Autumn School will take place in Stuttgart, Germany, from 22 to 26 October 2018. The deadline for applications was 24 June 2018. The number of participants is limited to 25. The Autumn School for Sustainable Entrepreneurship is funded by the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and is implemented by Engagement Global and its ASA Programme in the framework of the African-German Youth Initiative (AGYI) and in cooperation with the Baden-Württemberg Foundation for Development Cooperation (SEZ).
The vision: To create a network of sustainable entrepreneurs who think and learn globally
„ASA creates a future where sustainable business in Africa collaborates with youths in Germany; where an idea in Augsburg can develop with an incubator in Kenya. ASA creates a future where any young person can choose a path that opens his or her opportunities beyond their neighborhood into the wider world.“ (Justine Abuga, Ecobora - Wood Pellets from Saw Dust, Kenya, participants of the Autumn School 2016)
